Not sure how many games actually have that nowadays but I would guess that you'd have to buy the code seperately same as if it were a used game. If PS4 has that then that's pretty shitty

PS4 does not have them, Sony said they would not do it on PS4 as there charging for online to begin with.

That's good.

No. Not only is it on a different console, but it is essentially the same as a game of the year edition, and those release all the time among big franchises

do you really think all PS4 owners have PS3 and most already bought this game??

i believe for those who willing to buy it again or not is not what Sony targeting at...

Lol, you're exactly the kind of customer MS wanted to keep out with their original X1 model, you must've been happy when they changed the DRM thing. :D

Well before X1 came out I wasn't much of a renter. I just played every Gears, the Halo games and Mass Effect 3 with the occasional used game until recently when I realized I was missing out on a ton of games. I didn't really care about the DRM policy and since it was changed after like 9 days of being announced I wasn't given a chance to get pissed over it. But I'm sure if they were still here then I'd utilize Family sharing instead of renting. So its a win/win.

...Yeah the ominous family sharing, the plan that was never really explained in detail until after it was already canned anyway, I really don't believe it was as good as they claimed it to be, but whatever this is off topic.

OT: There definitely was demand for it, which is why ND/Sony went through with it after all, so I really don't see problem with that. Regarding price I think everything about TLOU is a bit steep, Sony is doing a little Nintendo here.

I've been waiting forever to play this. I didn't want to end up having to buy a PS3 and the game to do so. I've been hoping this game would come to PS4 since before the game released on PS3.

I'm pretty happy that it's also coming with all the DLC and tons of extras too.

They actually planned this version since before the PS3 release,  they most likely didn't want people waiting for the PS4 version

True, they were anticipating the demand, but if this demand for some reason wouldn't have manifested itself then I'm sure we wouldn't be getting this.

Just like making PS+ required for online play to provide a environment that Xbox users feel comfortable with, it is a treat for the new PS4 owners that switched over from other platforms to Playstation.

What? I thought they did that because of, you know, Money !

Now that's just silly. It may be a added benefit, but clearly not the main reason. It is Sony we are talking about here.

Yes I know what they said. For better online infrastructure. I believe that they waste a good amount of money maintaining the servers, but, even when I had ps+ before, and think it has great value, it is a bitter pill for me to swalow.

I have to inform you that you are taking me way too seriously.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Overkill is the fact that we aren't getting Uncharted 4 this year, boy! >:(

Imagine if Nintendo of MS did this and you get the idea.
It is just a quick cash in for Sony nothing more, nothing less.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
