Very good deal and now its going on at almost all major retailers. You are now paying $400 for the system and $50 for Titanfall which can be sold if you choose to. Well played Microsoft.

Or $390 for the system and $60 for the game. :L

Why buy it now? The thing is clearly not doing as well as MS wants it to, unless you think price cuts 4 months in and aggressive bundling of their biggest game (For free) indicates a healthy console (I'm still of the opinion that the console will go back down in April with stronger PS4 supply + Titanfall effect being over). Just wait it out till the holidays, I'm sure MS will drop to $399 + game. Might even be able to snag it for cheaper during Black Friday.

Not going to get burned on this one. Also, this probably means that there's no way MS is going to be selling the standalone console for $499 anymore, there's no turning back now.

This doesn't many any sense. Consoles are always going to receive price cuts, bundles, remodels, etc., regardless of how well they're selling.

Or 450 for the system and 0 for the game... Also, the price cuts arent really a rosey sign for MS. Maybe retailers and Ms set there expectations a little high but so far they havent been met

Atleast they're actually trying to do something about it, unlike a certain other company!

Yeah, I mean I got my NES with a free copy of Super Mario/Duck Hunt, Mario All-Stars with SMW when I got an SNES, DKC 64 when I got an N64, Call of Duty 2 when I got an Xbox 360, MGS4 and PAIN when I got a $400 PS3 (and that console bundled A LOT of free AAA games during its lifetime), Kung Fu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones with my second 360, Wii SPorts with my Wii, etc.  Not sure about price cuts and their time range.

Was ANYBODY happy with sales?

I guess they just always want to sell more than what they're currently selling. Not a bad philosophy really!

The fact that Best Buy is running the same deal is SOOOO tempting. I can get 18 months free financing. I couldn't care less about Titanfall, so I'd probably sell it to get a different game.

The only thing holding me back is a pending official price cut with revamped hardware. I strongly believe that E3 will have Microsoft changing the hardware with either a discless version and/or adding features to the hardware. Part of it is wishful thinking though because I want an Xbox One with a digital tuner built in for my OTA TV viewing as opposed to buying a separate box for the pass through.

titanfal is a download code and anyone who buys it is a dumb ass since you dont know if the codes been used yet. Basically holds no value to you unless you use it

People are buying it on ebay.  Just make sure you SHIP with tracking if you sell it.  DO NOT email it, or you can get scammed by the buyer.

You can get 50 for the code on ebay.  Just make sure you ship with tracking, not email.  So the download code does have value.  Of course, this assumes you didn't use it.

You can now get it for $400 on amazon with the Forza 5 bundle.......if only this deal would come to Canada I would surely jump on it.
