That's... not really how the burden of proof should work in this situation.

If someone is claiming that one game sold more, they should show how much the first game sold across all metrics; then how much the second game sold, and then show which one had the bigger number.

If you're missing the data for one of those metrics, then you can't do any more than draw assumptions.  No matter how obvious it may seem.

People are accounting digital sales as well.
And with such a small margin and Nintendo's data of strong digital sales for BD, it should be you who needs to prove LR had over 40k in digital sales.

I'm aware of the GAF posts, and I didn't make any statement. We just don't know what LR did digitally. tbone wants it to be less than what BD did digitally.

Come on now, most games dont sell that well digitally and with no numbrrs to present its assumed to be low. Do you really think LR has 35k+ digital sales? BD was mentioned because it had good sales according to npd! If LR > BD thats fine but all signs are pointing out BD sold more. Take it as u will, im just glad BD didn't get massively overtracked like LR here :-/

To add to the LR/BD comparisons...

Its a testament to just how sick people are with the XIII saga that it cant handily outsell the 3DS exclusive, niche, New IP JRPG that is Bravely Default. We shouldnt even be having this conversation regarding a Final Fantasy title. I hope this is a swift kick in the bollocks of whoevers idea it was to have 3 Final Fantasy XIII games after the backlash they got back at Part 1.

I don't know how much LR did digitally, but 35k across the two platforms (is availabile digitally on 360) doesn't seem outrageous at all.

We don't really have a lot of digital numbers for Day 1 Digital releases on PS3, we do know that the older FFs have sold very well on PSN (FF7 doing over 100k in FW), but that doesn't mean I can extrapolate those sales. BD was mentioned because Nintendo is actually giving out numbers, unlike every other publisher.

175k combined for 3DS and Vita, we don't know the specific numbers but some people are saying 12k (lol) for Vita, which means 163k for 3DS, which is down year over year (183k last year).

Wow I can't believe these numbers. 175k combined ?! I thought 3DS alone will get more than that, are vita's numbers negative this month ?
