The whole point of 1080p is to make an image crisper and jaggles look less obvious

Left no jaggles.....right jaggles

my point and resolution matters /thread

...You do realise that image is a pisstake, right?

You mean how it is not a BMP? If it was you would see even more of a difference....

I don't know you well enough to take that as sarcasm, but I will, for your sake.

There is a HUGE difference in native 1080p and 720p upscaled to 1080p. If you can not accept that then idk what to tell you. Ask any PC gamer.... I will grant you that frame rate is more important  though

Its a noticeable difference, I'm reluctant to say its huge.

The difference between 480p and 720p was huge, its easy to notice when a game is running well below 720p.

However, its hard determine whether a game is 720p, 900p, or 1080p just by looking at it.

Ok, I can accept that as you are correct. "Huge" is an incorrect word for 1080p over 720p. I just think "noticeable" is not enough either. Just by looking at a game it is tough to determine what it is but if you are used to playing at 1080p and then go down to 720p it is hard to play, I can not even think of playing Skyrim on my PS3 anymore after playing it on PC

Playing dark souls in 370x180 upscaled to 1280x720 right now. The game is still awesome and it gives it a RE4 look.

Kinda make it look more hardcore, dunno why.

That must be some scary shit!

You don't know which pixel is going to pop out and kill you.

Death by burning eyes.

More seriously i don't really care, already made a few run before on ps3 so I don't need the wow factor anymore. Plus the game wasn't that beautiful to begin with (may be with mods).

2D is still the most beautiful thing on earth, no 3D1080p can beat the sexyness of a muramasa.

Meh, even though I primarily spent the 7th gen playing games at 720p. I had no problem enjoying games on Wii or PS2 running at 480p with inferior graphics.

I appreciate high quality graphics, but its a novelty to the average consumer.
