Have you played it ?  lets face it its $60 for online only.  Bunldes will help but X1 low sales will hinder that.  Its on PC and 360, while PS4 is more then doubling X1 sales.  A hell of a lot in reality stand in the way of awesome TF sales.

Also xbox king of shooters is not really true anymore, Ghost and BF4 sold only around 50k and 100k more on X1 in NA and the lead is falling each week. No where like the last gen where 360 would easily double the PS3 version sales.

MS is still paying out for timed exclusives for DLC and the likes, as well as constant advertisement with Doritos, mountain Dew for extra exp, etc. Your move.

Not at $500 in this economy, but it's heading in the right direction with free Titanfall.

Going to be a bit dry for XB1 exclusives after Titanfall though.

* Incidentally how are the bundled Titanfalls counted?  Isn't it going to be 1 Titanfall pre-order for 1 console sold basically?

Please also remember that titanfall us a week closer to launch thab infamous.. Seeing as weekly preorders increase much more in the last weeks before release infamous has about 40-50k extra in store.

Well, if you visit a website like gamestop you will find that ther's a lot of advertisements/ads/recommended buys are for Titantall and Xbox but not any for SS and not really much at all for PS4.

The first thing you see is "pre-order the x1 titanfall bundle!" when you enter the website. And there's Xbox, Xbox, Xbox everywhere I look, like the PS4 hardly existed. So to me it seems like this game is being pushed as much as possible.





But to answer your thought, yes I do believe that the US market will be very tight and that X1 could sell more than the PS4.

Titanfall got 46k with 3 weeks to go. InFamous got a respectable 30k.

Opening week of 550k (if extropolated) in US on a user base of 2.xx mil? Ill wait for NPDthank you very much. I mean, I understand its hyped all to hell but I just dont see 1 in 4 people picking it up opening weekend.

What the PS4 has done over these last few months is crazy, i don't think anyone saw it coming. Sony really needs to push on to keep the momentum going.

As it stands now though i think MS has more options to spur on sales. Pricecut, Kinect games, system sellers like Titanfall and Halo etc. X1 really should win the US, especially considering how pro 360 US was.

I don't think the xbox one is doomed, I think that the xbox one is doomed if it continues on its current trajectory. I also believe that titanfall will give a decent bump to sales (as large releases always do), but I doubt the sales will be sustained. 

I also think it needs to be addressed that infamous Second Son is also being released 10 days after titanfall. If you adjust for that, second son is tracking more like 50k behind. It's still a significant amount, but not huge.
