Ok, not exactly what I asked but I found the sales points vs actual sale sof some.

You're confusing me now.  By sales points do you mean weekly numbers?  As in, the numbers we get every Sunday rather than every day?

In which case, you're correct, those points are normally around 0.5k per point in terms of first week sales.

But we won't get those numbers until the Sunday of the PS4 launch, so we have no idea what they are at the moment.  All we have to go on is the daily pre-order numbers (where generally 1 point = 1k sales).

bolded: jackpot! that's what I was talking about. pre order points = the everyday numbers. sales points = the number we get on sundays.

I'm confused by all these COMG numbers

I mean launch sales are more related to how much shipment the company do in day one than the preorders.

any sales are related to demand. overshipping a game/console won't interfere with sales. preorders help in the measure of demand.

Touché, and you're right. Lol

Still surprised by Minecraft. Amazing title for 360... Is it out for PS3 already?
And surprised as how little to nothing PS4 pushes Vita-sales...

All we know is it sold over 1 million on PS3 very quickly a while ago.

Ouch! Vita dropping again in Japan... no good.

Seriously... how long we will see pokemon still among the 10 best sellers? And people were saying that this franchise was dead.....

Is there any point in tracking PSP and Wii in the UK anymore? Theyre dead.

Microsoft lost their 2 territory, UK an US, Titanfall could save them.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

1.5m/year is 29k/week on average. You don't think PS4's third week can be higher than PS3's average weekly sales (it should only need about 35k to top WiiU WW)

bolded: there's another of the points I wrote.

Elaborate. I'm not following. Do you disagree or what?

Point 3: (heavily) underestimating wii u sales.

Huh? It sold 36k this week.

Donkey Kong, man! The Wii U will easily keep up with the PS4 when DK arrives, never underestimate Nintendo! So, with DK boosting weekly sales up to 250k weekly, it's not unreasonable to assume that Mario Kart will drive them further up to about 400k, with Smash thrown in we'll see it climb up to 550k average and John Lucas' 35 million by January 1st 2015 will be only 6-7 million off!
