I am hopeful that MK8 is going to be my favorite Mario Kart game of all time. The graphics are so damn good, the tracks look awesome, there are many playable characters and other things. I will be pretty surprised if this game doesn't live up to my expectations!

I almost forgot about the Rainbow Road. I wonder how they are going to use the whole anti-grivity mechanic with Rainbow Road. Hoefully I won't need a hurl bag.

N64 style battle mode and customisable races (i.e. the ability to turn off certain items, have vehicle specific races etc)) and this will be the best Kart ever.

Yes, this. Battle mode has been neglicted after MK DS. And more custom is always welcome.
