Is everything in that video gamplay footage but with different camera angles? Especially the last scene where Mario and Bowser look at each other as Mario races ahead?

Yes it is.

WOW. I don't think I've ever been this hyped for a Mario Kart game. Usually we know exactly what to expect from a new MK game, and while they're always fun, they're oh so predictable. The courses in MK8 on the other hand just look out of this world amazing (and insane). I think they've done more new with thwe courses in this game than they've done with the series combined in the last decade. I really think this looks like it could be the best Kart game ever.

Koopa Kids playable = unexpected, and cool.

So long as I get my Shy Guy playable, and so long as the bikes don't have the ability to manually fucking wheelie, I'm a happy camper. Can't wait!

I had a HUGE grin on my face the entire trailer, and it was wiped away right when I saw the date.

If MK8 has an option to play classic balloon battle from MKDS, this will be the best MK ever. I usually sink in like 200 hours in that one, but in MKWii and MK7 it was plain boring. Time limit sucks.

I want more elaborate online modes and features. MK DS, Wii and 7 had excellent netcode, just the features were little lacking.

This is going to be *the* Wii U game for me! It looks amazing, I love the Koopa kids being in there and the prospect of getting DLC for this game makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Did they confirm 5 player multiplayer yet? I gave up hope on 6 player support but most of the time we're more than 4 people and I'd love this to be included.
