Or as I have said, only a certain fan group knows of this game.

Lulz, thanks for that, I needed a good laugh.

This post is something I agree with. Very few people outside of Nintendo fans know about Xenoblade.

This has more to do with Nintendo's horrendous handling of their game. Between the 2 year delay and its Gamestop exclusivity, it's like they wanted the game to fail.

This is quite true and a crying shame. The quality of the game deserved a bigger push considering it was easily one of the best JRPGs of last gen.

Ah right, you are one of those forum people who ignores everything posted and all logic and try to go on a tangent on circular logic. Ok - have fun with that. I'll keep my stats and facts for someone who can atually use them.

What I will have fun with is having discussions with more informed gamers. Adios. xoxo

That's just Xenoblade in HD with Mechs, just like Titanfall is CoD next-gen with Mechs. Nothing impressive, not even remotely close to FFXV tr

Haha. Xenoblade>evey FF released since FFX. As far as I'm concerned, Xenoblade is the new FF.

So the $200 price for used copies means no one wanted it?

It means, as always, you have extreme fans.

The fact that it didn't sell even a million copies aka not even 1% of the market, means it was a spectacular flop.

Anyway, regarding this video, it's basically Xenoblade 2.0 with mechs. People really shouldn't be confused or surprised about what it plays like unless you've never seen a Xenoblade video before; from the first trailer it was obvious what it was. Xenoblade 2.0 sounds good as Xenoblade played well, and X should play even better.

Yeah, a surprising number of people, even among the most informed gamers, don't know anything about Xenoblade. Considering how much press it got, that's disappointing.

From the very first fraction of a second of gameplay I saw of this game, live during last January's ND, I knew exactly what it was and I knew I was going to buy it, no question. It's clearly more Xenoblade, which is all I can ask for.

Graphically looks last gen if not a bit better, e3 trailer was more impressive.

Gameplay wise i don't understand how it actually works, or the player is really skilled or the game doesn't seem that hard. I don't like the heavy focus on gunplay as well as the animations of the guns. It's gameplay reminded me of the ff15 demo and that was much more smouth and impressive.

XV looked like XIII, limited explorable areas and one player with one weapon. X is online multiplayer, sandbox, and much more diverse in combat. if smoothness (which I felt was no smoother than X) is all you're looking for (because you give no examples for impressiveness) then keep swallowing the S-E gravy.

We don't knwo any details about the world of XV so you shoudn't make assumptions. XV is more faced pasced just because it doesn't have mechs doesn't mean it's more diverse. I'm not a fan of S-E but unlike you i do not bow down to what i am given.

I got my details of the World by the several trailers they have showed over the course of nearly a decade. And if I;m not allowed to go off of that, then why are you alloud to, lol. Double standard much? Also expand on faster paced, battle actions are far faster as well as World exploration is far faster in X. (unless you meant neither of those things, as I said I need clarification.)

Guess Suikoden 2 sucked as well, it sold less than Xenoblade Chronicles by nearly 25%.

Guess Lunar the Silver Star is also a shitty jrpg, even worse than Xenoblade. (And it's a well known fact that Xenoblade was an extremely limited release in the US, the biggest market for videogames.)

Facts and numbers, you're welcome.

From a marketing and economical stand point - yes, they are bad products.

If no one wants a product, then it is bad. This is a universal truth, be it games, movies, cars, or even soap. To sell so little means they screwed up in numerous areas eg. few people like jrpgs.

So because few people like rpgs, the game devs screwed up.... If that makes sense to you...

The games looks very good, and if Nintendo America don't f*ck things again, it should sell more than Xenoblade.

And, to those complainging that the battle is very easy: have you noticed that the player (tester) is level 45 with the other 3 team members being 35, 32 and 26 while the monsters are level 13 and 32? No wonder the battle is easy.

So every single game on the PS2 was a spectacular flop?  No single game sold even 2% of the userbase.

And how does how well it sells relate to the quality of the title anyway?

And if was extreme fans, we'd have $200 used copies at Gamestop all the time....but we don't, despite having extreme fans.
