There had zero damage control. He's saying that the game is more than what it seems like on the surface and shows you in the video why. The match types, mechs and more will keep battles fresh. The gameplay style allows for great replay value as well.

How are mechs any different then the 20+ vehicles I can fly, drive over a big map in BF4? Mechs are just another vehicle and an extension of you on the groud. The only thing that does make this game seem different is mobility, it sure isn't the mechs.

Shhh... Just let them have this.

Flaming has no credibility and will downplay anything xbox. Proof here is how far he is willing to go to downplay Xbox anything.

Does the game need to be more than just COD with mechs?

The similarity between the games is undeniably striking. Even though Respawn consists of former COD developers, the shooting gameplay and visual style still bears an uncanny resemblance.

What is different is how they've expanded upon the core gameplay of COD, and incorporated some other new gameplay mechanics into a FPS. Sure we've seen things like mechs before, and wall traversal/parkour gameplay, but this game isn't trying to reinvent the wheel or radically change the very concept of FPS multiplayer. It seems to be about bringing together all these interesting concepts into one package and dialing it all the way up to eleven.

The developers may be relying rather heavily on an already established formula, but it's a tried and tested one. It's seen them laughing all the way to the bank in the past. It's also hard to remain doubtful when the game is under the careful supervision of such highly talented developers, who are without question, masters of the online shooter space.

Yes this. Though it does not make it a remarkable game, but it does not make it any less than the other successful entries in FPS's. Will the masses traverse from CoD to Titanfall? I don't know, they haven't really left CoD for anything else so maybe something else that plays almost exactly like CoD will do the trick.

The are vehicles that are created to move like man. Mech bots and there hasn't been a competent game like that in a while. In fact none like this so stop trivializing things just because you're biased.

Biased??? It's a fact they are just vehicles, adding a couple skills or perks doesn't change that. I am not trivializing anything mechs are hardly new, I said already it is the MOBILITY that is the best part of the game, but you want to dwell on the negative.

You're trivializing the game. If you don't like it thats fine, but you're literally TRYING to downplay the game. You don't have to like it. I respect your opinion, but its doing what NO shooter is doing right or has been doing in the past. You're reminding me exactly why even though I prefer Sony's overall product over Microsoft why I refuse to take sides and just focus on the games. If I was acting like you i'd be so picky that i'd miss out on some gems.

You are way too sensitive and are not seeing my whole post, I like the game and am probably going to buy it, fact is mechs are just another vehicle, period. Doesn't mean the game won't be good, the mobility is really neat.

I've seen your posts before. You're very aggressive when it comes to anything that Microsoft is affiliated with. This isn't our first run-in.

Thats his first post. You're confusing mine.
?? Facts, please research before posting. The ps3 had a bigger launch and outsold what the 100 dollar cheaper xbox 360 did in it's launch year.
