I think one it will hit the ds price it will be the peak year



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Sales are going down IMO, but not that dramatic.

Though I think it's pretty ugly and bulky due to not being foldable.


I think that to.. :)  to minor kids.. it's perfect (no woring about eyes being hurt, and also the not foldable) 

And 3d is not a gimmick.. (yes some say.. likely the ones not having the system, and trash talk nintendo all time) but i bet anything that the 3ds lite version.. will be foldable and still have 3d

ps it is kind of fun. to see a moderator.. who i expect to have seen.. touch generation and motion revolution.. (who the hatters also called gimmick) see a +40 mill sale.. and use the "gimmick" word

Under 143k for January NPD. Massive year over year declines in Japan every week this year. With Pokemon X/Y and a new, cheaper 2DS model in the West. Its peaked guys, get over it.

"I have a feeling" is stupid reasoning versus actual data.

Walk into a store like Best Buy and go observe a bee hive of little kids swarming the iPad/iPad mini section. That might be a tip off to what's happening in the portable industry.

yes.. some.. just like ipad (1-3) laptop's, tv's  And sure some don't get Xbox One is better than 360.... but thats part of releasing new producs.. not a special nintendo problem..  :)

I used the word gimmick since many Nintendo supporters called the 3D features on PS3 and 360 gimmicks before the 3DS was even released.
Not the other way around, which may have happened but I never saw (I'm not that much into handheld discussion anyway).

You can't be too positive these days around here if you are talking about Nintendo! So I attached this article about Nintendo's hardware decline by Matt Matthews! I think it's well written... kinda! It's bad news so rejoice!

I'll agree with you just because I think it's impossible that Ninty let it die like it did with Wii far before launching Wii U, it would be utterly idiotic and suicidal.
