at least it wont hurt...

That would be funny to see though lol, DK TF comes out and Wii U sales are lower than the week before.

Might get a nice boost for a couple of weeks and then go back to normal. It will continue to stay under next gen and current gen consoles.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

No, it will make Wii U sell worse. People will see that Donkey Kong is available on the console and refuse to buy a Wii U.

It will help. The question is for how much and how long

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I'm going on the record as saying No, lest the Wii U detractors set this game up as yet another failure (to sell systems). I don't doubt that it will cause a small hardware bump but nothing particularly significant.

My only hope is that the game is awesome, not merely very good.

I bet that 20,000 Wii Us are sold directly as a result of the release of this game.

Of course, this is probably immeasurable, practically speaking.

So no. Not much of a difference.

I think I glanced at someone say this earlier: it's certainly not going to HURT sales.

I believe it will sell some consoles, but it's more of a "backlog" type game that adds itself to "reasons" to buy a Wii U, but not necessarily be a definitive one for anything other than a very small portion of people.

So I voted 'yes', but am cautiously optimistic about how MUCH it will help. I'll be buying and reviewing it myself, that's for sure. Perhaps I'll be swaying some people on my own, haha :P

A new, quality game can only help. It's not going to be a huge hardware mover like Mario Kart, but every little bit helps.
