isn't anectodal evidence enough, especially from those who were observing the industry back then? Besides I doubt anyone can to be find numbers for the 90's. What you are asking for is unreasonable.

I think it will move the needle, but not in a huge long term way.

DKC Returns on 3DS is only tracking at ~1.2M units... with it's much larger user base than Wii U.

You can't point at DKC on SNES and assume it will do the same on Wii U.  DKC on SNES was a really beautiful looking game for the 16-bit generation.  Now it doesn't quite have such outstanding appeal.

ok, now thats data I can concede too. I missed that part. Was it bundled? doesnt matter really.

Either way, Feb is going to be interesting. This will be the first mainline DKC game NOT released in holidays at all. This is the true test of system seller IMHO
