ME2 on PS3 came with all the dlc packs for the game. Also it was upgraded to run on ME3 engine, so you could even some slight graphical enhancements (minor). Also helped that the game dropped to under $20 just months after on a much larger install base.

They weren't real advancements though and the framerate was bad. ME3's port was even worse. I've played it myself for a few hours so I'm not talking out of my ass. I had to stop due to the framerate and tearing being terrible. It still sold well. Lots of other cases like these, like Bayonetta which was one of the worst PS3 ports ever, yet sold quite a lot. Also The Orange Box, another bad port that sold well.

The fact is, I think, that most consumers don't really know if a game is worse on one platform than the other. Most consumers don't visit Eurogamer and read Digital Foundry articles. They just buy what interests them and Nintendo console owners don't seem as interested in most big 3rd party games as PSXbox owners are.

Damn you Pezus for taking pot shots at PS3 versions of games. Also implying that ps3 gamers have bad taste and keep on buying shitty ports.

Second paragraph is something i can agree with and have been trying to convey to PlayStationLegend, who is a new user here.

best part is this one " We wanted the WiiU owners to pay 70 bucks for the WiiU version of ME3 while the PS360 fanbase got the trilogy for 60. It was a solid effort!"

70 because at least in most parts of europe WiiU games were 70 compared to the PS360 games. Even UBI's ZombiU was 70 and thats one of the reasons noone bought it.

I also want to point out that a couple days before NFS: Most Wanted was released for the WiiU EA gave me a copy of the game for free on PC because of the Sim City disaster. Even though NFS:MW was a "solid effort" the cannibalized there sales there too much like the did with ME:3 releasing at a higher price then the trilogy on other systems.

EA's not entirely wrong, their games wouldn't sell well on the Wii U and they were right to jump ship.

They wanted a full generational leap from the PS3/360, once they didn't get it, I think they decided to phone it in.

They don't have a Skylanders like Activision or Just Dance like Ubi Soft to give a hoot about.

Nintendo fans just want a scapegoat to blame, so EA makes an easy target, but anyone who thinks the Wii U would be selling any better with Madden NFL and Battlefield when Call of Duty, NBA 2K, and Assassin's Creed didn't jack all for the Wii U are kidding themselves.

I'm not so sure Nintendo fans (maybe  some here and there) are using EA as a scapegoat, rather they are just expressing themselves the same way the EA employees have express themselves.

You make it sound like EA are the victims. You do know EA are the ones setting up baits. After their WiiU games have been released and failed, there's always been someone from EA that bad mouths Nintendo and giving out materials for baiting Nintendofan. They could have easily said, "no comment" or dodge questions or not say anything. Instead, they openly say stuff like, "WiiU is crap" or "Nintendo is dead to us".

EA's never publically said anything bad about Nintendo, they are off the record quotes from unnamed sources. And they may well be the truth, which is fine because people want to know what the truth is, well don't ask for the truth if you're can't handle it.

Nintendo fans know damn well EA would not do well on the Wii U. The genres they make simply do not perform on Nintendo platforms regardless of quality.

Activision and Ubi Soft will be moving away from the platform in similar ways too, perhaps keeping things like Just Dance and Skylanders around but that's about it.

Off the record are usually confidential. The individuals saying it may be anony, but they they don't hide the fact they're from EA. So, its understandable Nintendo fans would target EA.
Just to make sure, I agree with you about the sales, I'm not questioning that some third party games will not do well on current Nintendo platforms.

Well as long as they gave it a decent shot.......

As has already been pointed out, the timeline is off. The ONLY EA game that was given due attention on the Wii U was NFS (rather good game) and the studio that made that have now been disbanded and the founding members have left EA. I'd like to think they got in trouble for actually making a good game for the Wii U :)

Sorry can't take a company that won the crap award a couple of times in a row seriously

keep fixing your broken games EA!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

They are preaching to the choir. Third party is the lifeblood of the industry. Any console without its doomed to mediocrity no matter what any fan of whatever console says.

What broken games? No gamer should ever be so defensive of a console manufacturer. If they say Nintendo isn't catering to their audience, i'd say this is a problem Nintendo needs to fix.
