The PS3 is at 83M so no doubt going to pass the 100M mark over time. But at least you acknowledge that the PS3 is a powerhouse.

You're comparing a system which sold 82M to a system which only sold 42M and saying that the 82M isn't a powerhouse because I said that the 42M isn't one?

Sept 29 2012, SW Sales total: 15.76m
Sept 28 2013, SW Sales total: 29.12m

For a difference of 13.36m retail, meaning that if vgchartz numbers are correct, Nintendo made 2.7m in digital sales, a volume of 16.8% over total sales. Not bad right?

That would sound about right. I wonder what initial digital sales were like, what sort of increase they are seeing.

with that guessed percentage it will now allow people to get an idea of the total sales numbers by just taking the figures listed here and adding 16.8% to it if the game is available on the eshop, it wouldn't be anything that you could call an exact number but would still give you a ball park idea. Really cool to know, nice work.

As I said - you can give the 3DS 10 more years and it'll still on get those PS3 numbers.

Is there some unspoken rule here that no one reports frequent posters? From what I can see, the derailment in this thread can almost entirely be attributed to one user.

OT: Really glad to hear the 3DS is doing so well. Easily my favorite gaming device right now. I'm still working on Shin Megami Tensei IV, Zelda, and Pokemon Y, and with Bravely Default coming next month, that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.
