This is the 1st time that new consoles do not vaporize into thin air in seconds after getting restocked. And i guess you are ignoring the fact that not everyone outside US wants to buy a ps4/xone from Ebay. I've checked amazon.uk and its out of stock (ps4 that is). So outside US the demnad is still not satisfied.

This so much.

considering how much ebay and paypal take out from those purchases, the seller is probably making no profit at this point.

Also, in South Texas, PS4 is still sold out at all possible sellers. Xbox One is readily available at most Target locations and Gamestop. They've been able to meet demand for Xbox One which is good, but PS4 is going to take a little while longer because I really don't think they are able to supply as many PS4s as Xbox has been able to.

Haven't I saw this thread yesterday?

PS4's are Ebaying 75-100 over retail.

No they aren't.

I just watched a few pages finish. Only one obvious fake $1000 sale from a seller with very few ratings sold over retail.

1st/3rd one was from ~2hrs ago, showing how far back you had to go.. how many unsold or under $400 did you pass?

2nd one has zero bids. It didnt' sell.

You're sorta right, there are a couple that did sell for a bit above retail... excluding taxes.

However, those people are idiots as there are FAR more selling under $400 all around those.

My point still stands.

Show me the ones your talking about.

Everyone who cant find a console is going straight to ebay confirmed.

Problem with using Ebay as a measuring stick:

1. Ebay sucks, not everyone enjoys using it.
2. We're so close to Christmas, the likelihood of getting your console by the 25 is slim.

Problem with using "hey well i sat in a walmart for 45 minutes watching!" as a measuring stick:

1. YMMV. I don't know of any Walmart that has either console in stock. I am still yet to physically see an Xbone unit since a couple days after launch at a Best Buy. But would I make a thread about how my personal experience must make it the norm for the entire country? No, that would be silly.

It's less than a week until Christmas and the consoles just launched. You're kidding yourself if you think the demand has been met.

Everyone knows anedoctal evidence is better than statistical and stronger than financial reports...

We could go like this from some people perspective... since PS4 sold 2.4M and there isn't any in shelves, Xbone sold 1.8M and there is some in shelves from time to time that must mean than PS3 and X360 shipped a lot more, maybe in the 4M figures during holiday because there are a lot on shelves all the time...

People don't even know the full data and never will, but keep drawing stupid conclusion... then when we make silly threads with joke conclusion people can still take it as serious opinion... go figure.

The only people that truly knows the situation are logistic and top managers at both companies, all other is guesswork... but sure even if no one desired with passion one the consoles, being the new thing around christmas demand would be strong.... so they will start meeting demand in January (or later depending on pent up and availability).
