Forums - Gaming Discussion - eBay proves PS4 and Xbone stock has met demand.

Well considering this one is currently selling for $130 more than RRP, I would consider your statement false.

lol our stock in Aus was so pathetic it hardly made a dent. So expect people to pay money for PS4s. XBOX one on the other hand sold like 69K, double wii launch and PS4 wasn't even on the radar as a comparison.

On the other hand I can go to a store and still get an XBOX one as MIcrososft supplied loads more to meet demand.

Or maybe people just got tired of buying the Boxes of the consoles instead of the real thing

Lol, maybe.  That story of someone buying just a picture of the Xbox One probably turned some people off of buying the consoles on eBay, for fear of being tricked.

what fear? if they can read the description they know it is the console, the box or a damn picture. If people are too retared to read then that is their problem.

If they do get tricked well then paypal will recover your money no big deal.

It's sold out until Feb here in Australia. Maybe the could send us some of the US stock?

EB guy told next shipment is April for PS4.

All this will do is piss people off and get them to buy a xbox one first. I seen it already.

A quick search on ebay shows systems still selling well over 399. Here are the first few results (I only shose the first few with the bid option rather than "buy now":

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-PlayStation-4-Latest-Model-500-GB-Jet-Black-Console-/301043821954?pt=Video_Games&hash=item46179c2d82

Again this is while Amazon is full on PS4 stock.

Well, XBONE pre Xmas stock appears to have been satisfied in the UK.

I've been seeing quite a few PS4 units floating around too. But they've been doing a lot of restocking of both systems. I'm very impressed with how these launches have been handled.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Al those bids look suss.

First one is shilled.

Second has love feedback bidders with high % bid.

First and Third and 4th the same ID with low feedback had bid on them. So this guy is hedging his bets and won't pay for two, or he artificially is going around increasing the price to make the value appear hire so he cna sell his stock.

It makes sense bith companies would get a big sbipment out for today. We do know today (Saturday before Christmas) rivals Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) in terms of shopping, right?

What does the high feedback mean with the second one?

In the bigger markets yes but not in the irrevelant ones :(. Pre ordered in August: delivery estimate of 15 december and this week they let me know it will be for 15th january...

well the seller looks genuine.  The buyer may also be as its a reasonable price.

It would appear a few people are bidding on multiple consoles probably trying to hedge their bets to get a better price. Ever since paypal introduced no negative feedback for buyers, buyers have been doing this on a shitload of auctions. Can you pblame them though if you can get away with it? I was selling one item (basketball card) which a guy with 30 unpaid strikes won. Guess what? he didn't pay me. Net time I limited my auction to 1 unpaid strike and solved that problem lol.
