That doesn't even make any sense. 

Put your Nintendobias behind you and tell me that Mario Kart 8 is the best looking racing game out there.

Not knocking the game, it'll be fun. But visually? Not the best.

Can't wait! From what I've seen the tracks look really good. This may push me to get a WiiU sometime next year if there's another price drop.

Definitely my most anticipated 2014 release, edging out MGSV. That airport track only sweetened the deal :)

I had a chance to play this summer and, believe me, it plays like a dream.

Underwater Driving - I bought my son MK7 for the 3DS and it has underwater driving already. -We are talking about comparisons to the previous home console, which is really a different experience than mobile play.

Anti-grav Hovercraft sections-  New to the series, but Wipeout have been doing this for ages (so has F-Zero)

Probably 16 new tracks and 16 remade tracks- "PROBABLY" not fact. - This has been the norm for the series and I would be shocked if it is not so for this version (if not more).  4 Cups, each with 4 tracks
 
New vehicle type- Lets hope so. - This has been confirmed (some sort of buggy vehicle)

New Multiplayer modes (presumably)- Indeed "presumably" - Each iteration has a new take on how multiplayer works (note though that it is not always an improvement over the previous iterations)

Perhaps expanded roster- Again "perhaps" - We know of at least 17 confirmed racers

Definitely worth 60 bucks to me - To each their own I guess.

The thing I would like to know most is how they are handling online, and what the multiplayer modes will be though
