No Pokemon ever will be able to sell what Red, Blue and Green sold, really

what about digital tittles? doesnt singstare come with every PS3?

Exactly. What about digital sales? The only way to make the claim by the OP is spin and ignoring facts. Simple as that. And when the facts were pointed out and his logic dedtroyed he threw a tantrum

1 - We´re talking about  physical media sales. That´s what Vgcharts tracks and the thread is clear about that.

2 - The demo disc of the PS was not a game

It doesn´t matter if you accept it or not, bundled games are and will always be valid games sold.

We should lock this thread.
This is becoming nothing more than another fanboy dumb, pointless discussion.

In case you didn't read the title:

Software:

- 100% Nintendo

Conclusion:

Nintendo should totally go 3rd party, they are just the most successful gaming company in history of videogames. Without a doubt, Nintendo is hated.

In conclusion, without bundling their games with almost every system or controller/accessory sold, Nintendo has 6 out of 15 best selling games.

....that is, if we dont include any of the last 4 GTAs, any of the last 4 CODs or any of the last 2 Battlefield games

Speaking of digital. Half life sold 10mil (CS at 5mil) at retail by 2009 and probably just as many (this is steam digitally). But hey... lets ignore that VGC has no way to estimate digital and they didnt even really start estimating software till 2006(dont even know how they have figures for smb and duck hunt) and not even estimating europes till 2007. Lets also ignore ign when they say vgc is garbage (say what you will about ign. They are still more respected and larger than vgc with more connections) and lets ignore that vgc even conceeds they are estimating... and lets ignore their database is largly incomplete (go ahead and search for half life)...

In fact, let's just stop visiting vgchartz and reading the data because it all makes no sense and OP is based on nothing reliable.

Honestly, that's how low we've come in this thread.

Its a good place to get reliable hardware sales because of consistant reports to be able to adjust accordingly (at least every three months). Its a good place to find ssales from reliable trackers such as npd and famitsu/mediacrate. So hell, if you want to stop coming here thats fine with me but i wont and ill stick with reliable information

Uh.... becoming? Thats what it started as... starting with the title. As for your other points "retail only" okay sure... if you want to cherry pick data and insert whatever bullshit criteria to suit an agenda thats fine... but at least put an astrik on it and a disclaimer at the bottom

Combining totally different platforms to get the overall sales of a MULTI-platform title, is like, also counting all the dudes that got your GF pregnant before you did, and count every kid as your baby.

Holy shit this is incredible.

We had another thread for this, by Khuutra, that actually did the multiplats together too. It was a looooooong time ago now and I like the idea, I might take the reigns now that the generation is coming to an end and K is no longer around.

Kinect Adventures is undertracked.

Also, GTAV > All non bundled games, EVER.

Really, Mario Kart and the Wheel????  REALLY!  What else did people use that wheel for?  The Wii Fit balance board?  What else did they use that for?  In fact, I would argue it becomes MORE impressive when you realize what people were willing to pay for said bundle.

Imagine if Uncharted 4 came out, but in order to get the uber-sweet graphics you needed a $40 dongle that attached to your PS4.  So now the game is $100.  If that game sold well, would you argue it was "bundled"?  If the game sold poorly, would you use that as your excuse?

Even with the Wii itself, many people bought it JUST for Wii Sports.  Think about that.  They were willing to pay 250 dollars for the Wii Sports experince.  After all, many did let the system collect dust afterwards, or sold them off.

Another point, if bundling a game is guaranteed sales, why don't Sony and Microsoft use it?  Oh wait, they do.

The bottom line is, in the past, Nintendo has been a SW giant.  Sony and Microsoft have their share of amazing IPs too.  Another fact is that Wii U is not selling as well as Nintendo hoped, but there is still hope for them to turn it around (see PS3 late sales as an example).
