I have a feeling it might be PS4, but seeing reports of heavy supply problems might give X1 the edge until PS4 releases in Japan. The thing is, X1 is getting Titanfall and Halo 5 next, system sellers in USA. However, WiiU's lineup is potentially stronger than both PS4 and X1. I guess PS4 but think it might just be X1.

PS4 would be everyone's assumption, and I can see it.

But I'm gonna go maverick and say that with the help of huge 2014 titles like Mario Kart and Smash Bros., Wii U will be the first to reach 10m, even if only by a nose.

No offense, but that's a pretty ignorant stance to take. Wii U already has sold over 4 million units, and by the end of year will most likely have at least reached 5 million. With the help of big titles that many people are waiting to get a Wii U for, such as Mario Kart, Smash Bros., X, Bayonetta 2, Zelda, etc. I think Wii U absolutely has a strong chance of reaching 10 million first. I'm not saying it WILL happen for sure, who knows what will go down. But to say there is a "0% chance"? Sorry, that's just trolling.

He's right. The hot third party titles are coming out in 2014 and Nintendo barely has any of them if any at all outside of Watchdogs. That an Titanfall, Halo 5, Infamous, The Order and Uncharted are all dropping in the same year. Its going to be a huge year for those two consoles and they haven't even unleashed most of their hot exclusives for 2014 yet. Its going to be domination.

The top titles next year are not going to even touch Nintendo:

Dark Souls 2

Destiny

Witcher 3

Final Fantasy Versus

Thief

Elder Scrolls Online

None of these are slated for Nintendo. The biggest third party title coming to Nintendo this year is Watchdogs.  Third parties are a large part of the overall picture.

I think the PS4, the Xbox one is more expensive so it will have less sales during the regular weeks of the year. The WiiU simply doesn't have the demand that it needs to reach 10 million before the PS4, unless the effect of Mario Kart and Smash Bros. is really big.

A too easy question, PS4. This gen will be owned by PS4 in selling numbers.

By far the strongest library until at least 2015, cheapest forever. Neither PS4 or Xbone are going to have that many games coming out for a while, and both are out of stock for a while. Wii U is about to pick up momentum. I'm willing to bet on it.
