I don't fan towards either OS but my last 2 phones have been Android because of the openness, user friendly and overall phone selection. Galaxy Note series have had me locked because of the screen size.

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
Windows since the phone was of great build quality for a low price and I can connect my phone, pc and 360 into one, coherent system. Also, I prefer the OS overall compared to Android or IOS.
Android: it's open and it allows open markets for its apps, and I found a model, Motorola Defy Mini, that for less than 100 euros is resistant to scratches and small impacts and splashes and has front and back cameras. Its flaws, forgivable for its price: not very powerful and the small internal memory is ridden with cumbersome apps like FBK and Twitter that could stay in the memory card, and that being needlessly installed as system ones I'll need to root the phone to move them away. Until then, installing or updating large apps is often very awkward, typically needing to uninstall FBK and Twitter updates to make temporarily room for the update process. I guess successive versions of Android (mine is Gingerbread) and later phones with more RAM and internal memory don't suffer from this annoying flaw, but I won't replace it soon, I'll just do that workaround and be happy with a cheap smatphone that for its low price can do more than I need.
iOS
I prefer, I don't like Android, I tried but gave up
Android.
My first smartphone was an iPhone but it was way too restrictive for my liking.
Since then I've gone from Galaxy S2 to Note 2 and now Note 3.
I love the openness and customisation of Android.

I have an android (my second phone with it actually). I like what Sony has done with it, but i wish they were quicker with updating it. I want kit kat! iOS was always out the question because it was too expensive for what it was and as it turns out i don't like what they've done with iOS 7. It seems horrible now. Also, Android is far more flexible in what you can do in every way. I had a HTC before but it was too slow but thats more today with the technology than the OS. Smartphone technology has moved forward so much in the last 5 years, it's incredible.
Windows Phone seems interesting though and seems to have as many features as Android now thanks to Nokia. There phones look good.
Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
Android 4.4. I love the flexibility offered with Android. I've not yet found a problem I can't solve or a fix for something I don't like that a quick visit to the Google Play Store doesn't fix. I've used an iPhone for work and they have their advantages but they are just too closed (and too expensive) for my liking.
I had the S2 and loved it so decided to stick with Android, just picked up the Nexus 5 and love it even more.
HTX 8X Windows Phone
I use to buy Android but decided to try something else. I love it and don't plan on buying anything else again.
