It's terrible. Imagine what the Wii U Virtual Console could be:
- More save states through multiple user accounts
- Online play added to formerly local multiplayer games (Super Mario Kart!) and online leader boards (Starfox)
- Huge selection of classic Nintendo titles
- Inclusion of Gamecube and Dreamcast games
- Arcade versions (again, Mario Kart! F-Zero AX!)
- Remix versions of classic titles (Ocarina of Time Master Quest, beta stuff)
But Nintendo totally doesn't want to put any energy into this. They also refuse to drop the prices of the games. Some early NES games should be sold for 2$ or so. And they could have this huge output of games but they decided to let one lone person program all the VC games so they put up like 1 game per week.
Yeah, I'm sorely disappointed. The VC was one of the most important features to me.
