Forums - Sales - So much for late ports being a good reason for low sales

Cool story.

There is no need to compare CoD sales on a Nintendo system to others. CoD has a max of selling 1-2m on a Nintendo platform.  To put it simple...  Most Nintendo gamers don't give a shit about CoD or they buy it on another platform.

Shouldn't of even brought up Mass Effect 3 on Wii U.

And Nintendo Land and NSMBU have both sold over 2 million. So this tells us that people buy Nintendo's consoles primarily to play Nintendo's games. Go figure. :p

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

I know.  Don't you hate when facts get in the way?

My opinion of PS4 buyers has now gone down considerably.

Edit: I was a dick in the above statement.

Nah. I have always been well aware that third party games do not sell well on Nintendo systems.

Although people seem to be stressing this point too much, don't you think? And seem to be enjoying it, instead of you know... enjoying the PS4?

We already know the Wii U isn't the system to buy primarily for shooters. This isn't new at all.

Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD

Its obvious that Nintendo has no excuse. This didn't need to be restated. Third party games will sell in low quantities on Nintendo because they were conditioned to operate that way.

Late ports never was an "excuse" or reason for why these games simply didnt sell on Wii U. On the other hand, here, a picture of all the people surprised by this -

I'm not even going to bother to bring up all the arguments from last year with people like Rol who mentioned things like a weak world economy or games available on current gen consoles will cause soft sales for next gen consoles. I'm sure 3rd parties will continue to bring out filler games (Ubisoft with Rayman, Square Enix with Tomb Raider) until their next gen games are readyto prevent another Wii U drought type situation.

Given the opportunity, next gen gamers on the Xbox and PS4 are buying games, thats what matters to the future of the industry.
