I guess 10 games per Vita owner is still not all that much overall.

It's not the consumer's responsibility to buy crappy/rehashed games devs make in the hopes that they'll bring out a better game next time. It's the devs responsibility to bring out good games to entice people to buy the platform to play their games.

If that isn't the case, then I'll avoid the platform and the platform can sink altogether.

For me personally, I did buy the Vita because of Gravity Rush and Persona 4 Golden. On top of that, Sony's PS+ offering was another big factor since I had it for PS3 already. For me those were good enough reasons to buy the Vita and Sony seems to be going in the right direction by releasing Gravity Rush 2.

Damn I guess me and my 20 Vita games will have to take some of the blame too then...?

Omg! I've only bought one copy of each game I own. I'm such a terrible person.

I am not sure it is doing bad anymore. I was at Gamestop yesterday asking where the vita section was. He told me it was on one of those shelves on the backside of a PSP game rack. I went and looked, there are actually a decent amount of games for it!
Anyways, I was actually looking at PSP prices. He said they do not sell new ones anymore and they are about to get rid of the used ones after this Christmas as well. The games are really cheap and the cheapest used PSP is 59.99! So I will probably get one.
But here is the point of this post. When I asked him about the PSP he kept saying the Vita. I had to strongly insist that I was talking about the PSP before he would stop telling me the Vita price. I finally had to tell him, " No one cares about the Vita! I am talking about the PSP man!" He then proceeded to make me feel like an idiot. Supposedly, according to him ( his friends laughed as well at my idiocricy) the Vita is selling great now that it is linked with the PS4 or something like that. I quietly said, "Are you sure? I am pretty sure it is not and that is why it is on a rack in the middle of your store". But he insisted that the PS4 saved it, mentioned nothing of the Vita tv thing.
So long boring story short for those of you who care not to read or press the translate button on Google translate.Iceland, no one is to blame since the Vita is doing great. He did not even know anything about the Wii U or 3DS. That is how good the Vita is selling for him. He needs to know nothing about those two systems.

Anyways. Vita owners support third party more than Wii U owners do. In comparison there are 49 games on the Vita that have 100,000 sales or greater on the Vita while only 20 games with 100,000 sales or greater. There are various first party titles for both of those but I'm lazy and don't want to pick them out.

I would buy some games, but Sony just keeps on giving them to me for free with PS+! So I say Sony is to blame. I bought killzone though. :P

to be fair, a lot of people who bought the Vita later on traded their PS Vita to get the Nintendo 3DS XL. other people just sold their Vita's back to GameStop. its really PlayStation's fault, because th PS Vita was nothing but fluff since the beginning, it was all just pure hype.

Last time I checked, marketing & advertising is getting less powerful with every year that goes by.

You have to scale up by 1.56 for the Wii U, given the larger install base for the Vita. That means a game has to sell 64,000 on the Wii U to be equivalent to a game selling 100,000 on the Wii U. That gives us 26 games for the Wii U.
