Confirms that this is the game most likely to make me get an X1 at the moment.

Shame the video is off screen but it's Crytek so I'm sure it looks good.

Just looked through the video again and the combat actually looks pretty, damn awesome :). It will be interesting to see the story in action as well.

Love the combat. Love the visuals. Game looks so interesting. Good to see a break from the usual shooter or driver launch game.

Well done crytek. One of the most interesting launch games out there. And possibly the best looking console game so far.

Still the best looking game. I want to see some real HD video!

What started as very little interest has changed to full on anticipation over the last couple of months. The more I see, the more I like it. The part at about 4 mins. where he dipped under the Barbarian's attack and stabbed him the back was awesome. Also liking the rolling too.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Looks great.

Part of just wishes this game was more in the vein of a Heavy Rain/BEYOND. Having this more of a linear story focused title with large scale battles with you commanding an army would have been so incredible. Of course still have you battling yourself. What I mean is having is more like the original showing on the XBone.

As someone mentioned before, being a Roman general running around solo just seems odd.

Will still no doubt pick it up when I get an XBone.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Looks amazing. This is the first action game since NGII to grab my attention.

Before I give my opinion about this video I want to say say these points about modern gaming.

1. We can slay hundreds of thousands of enemies by playing as a single character and we consider them as normal.
2. Game characters can carry tons of loot and none complains it being unrealistic.

Now my opinions about the video.

1. For some reasons it feels funny for a Roman general to roam around the game world alone and slay them one by another. It fells he is Roman general > turn > roman scout > turn > Roman ninja.
2. With that heavy armor and sword he is always running like usain bolt. This game wants to give you a real feeling and they are quite successful about it. From armor's movement to sound effect it gives real vibe but somehow it feels out of place.
3. There are some other things that I cant describe but seems out of place.

I know I am being dumb for putting comments like these. We can duck from attack and get healed in seconds or
carry the whole words weight but I expressed my view what I feel about this game and about this video in general. Those who are looking forward to RYSE dont listen to my comments. You guys have fun.

You must hate most games/movies/stories... thank god devs don't push for this kind of thinking or game characters would always have to have some super powers that allow them to fly and shoot fire from their hands.

We'll see in the story if he was sent there or if he ended up there for some unknown reason but even still, I'm glad the game has multiple environments.
