If I record iPhone always sold more than Galaxy... even the old model (5) sold 5 million in three days.

And both (5 and 5S) were sold out in these three days... for 5S didn't expect any new shipment before October.

You can actually get a decent amount of money for an older iPhone towards a new one. So yes the phones are expensive, but I know people at my office that are selling their old iPhone 4S for $200 and putting it towards a new one.

It's gonna blow right past the 3DS. Of course, you won't see THAT thread lol. Having said that, I'm not upgrading to ios7 because it looks like something a 12 year old girl and her 45 year old mother would use.

It's not about the money IMO. It's about the fact that people buy these things, every single year, just so they can feel important in society and belong to the "in" crowd. For every person like myself that buys something because they have done their home work, and just like the product, there are 1 million more who buy things like iPhones to be hip, and accepted. 

THAT'S my issue with it. It's materialism gone insane.

The S4 is just one of the many android flagship devices.

Much lower price huh? Last I checked when I got my 4S it was $200 w/2 year contract and my Fiance's Galaxy S3 was $200 w/2 year contract. Only time a brand new iPhone costs more is if you go for higher than 16GB.

Other than that they don't offer all that much more. I would know, I have owned Galaxy devices since the original Galaxy S, known as the Captivate and am a very active member of the XDA forums and modding scene. There is plenty I can do with a jailbroken iPhone, just like with a rooted Galaxy.

Only thing Android has on iPhone is shorter battery life.

Edit - Just realized you do not live in the US. Here the new iPhones and Galaxy devices are the same price at launch. Even now if you were to buy a 5 or a G3 you could get them for $99 w/ contract.
