Would have loved to take advantage of the early digital release and cement it with the Fit Meter, but my Wii Balance Board doesn't work.
Still might be cheaper to go that route and pick up a used Balance Board. We'll see. ^_^

| RolStoppable said: Wii Sports Club is more or less a band-aid for a major oversight on Nintendo's part (no Wii Sports 3 so far). If it isn't retail, then you are speaking mostly to current Wii U owners. Updated graphics and, more importantly, controls is good though. Plus the integration of online play. But yeah, if it isn't retail, then it won't have much of an impact on hardware sales. |
My thoughts exactly. Especially for the group this is targeted at. My sister likes Wii Sports, but she never bothers to connect her devices with the internet (except PC). Also nobody in the target group will know about this, as it isn't visible in stores. Nintendo still needs a retail-version of Wii Sports 3.
i think they will eventually add sports (sport resort sports maybe), and when they get all the sports they will sell it at retail, a box with all sports.
All sports wouldnt get ready until christmas, so they made this way to bring at least tenis and bowling to take advantage of the end of year hot market.

Par for the course for this 'new' Nintendo...you know, the one that, unlike the early Wii days, apparently can´t get anything right about its successor.
When did they announce a ND?
NOA link btw... didn't see it in OP.

Kinda cool, but I would have to buy the wiimotes and bar aside the WiiU, to late to the party I guess. Off to the real Gym =/
Wii Sports club is a must buy, day 1
Wii Fit U .. maybe, will wait to see the full package of activities.

Never thought I'd say this but I'm actually inclined to purchase Wii Fit U. Will depend on how much everything costs in the end, but it looks very promising.
Wii Sports Club looks like a nice addition as well, hope they can market it properly.
I believe they ninja'd this direct to avoid people hyping it up and being disappointed.

That awkard moment when you're watching the Direct with your girlfriend and the Wii Fit Trainer is face down, ass up in front of the camera, and there's a red arrow points at her back and ass for a few seconds.

I really like that, zero expectations, greater result!
