Like many people already said, is kind of stupid to not release a physical copy of Wii Sports Club. But if Nintendo does a bundle similar to WW HD it shouldn't be that much of a problem I think.

As for getting the games...maybe. Playing the Wii sports games online will be kinda cool, but still not sure about it. Probably only getting golf since that was my most played sport on the original Wii Sports. Not really that interested in Wii Fit U.

Nintendo and PC gamer

Maybe they will do a bundle with remote+ and wii sports club pre-installed. Could be big.

Added a poll and info in the OP.

Very cool. Thanks Sharu!

Certainly curious to see how Wii Sports Club performs. I'll definitely pick up Bowling and Golf. Maybe Tennis...

Now it seems they know what they are doing... )

Take some pride and ownership with your thread. Add some damn details about the games... at least release dates/prices etc.

A bit better now?

You have done well young one.

Yeah it's really cool that they're basically giving you Wii Fit U for free if you purchase the Fit Meter. Also, the 1-month free trial's very nice, didn't expect that, but seems like a smart move!

I'm also quite shocked at how advanced the Fit Meter itself seems to be, as I was expecting it to be some sort of glorified pedometer... but this seems to be measuring and processing quite a lot of different data and factors all the time. Pretty neat!

when i saw the fit meter i was 'oh im buying that' then i was like 'the game is free!'

I already planed on getting Wii Fit U when it arrives and now totally cool with only purchasing the fit meter to get the game. Wii Sports was a nice surprise that really peaked my interest with online play! Gettin both!!

I really like the idea of competing regionally in Wii Sports Club...
Have they said whether or not we will be able to compete at the international level...
It will be cool to go up against other states, but I would love to see what countries have the best Wii athletes...

Have a nice day...

I was SO PUMPED while watching this Direct. Hilarious Iwata and Reggie meme references from Wii Fit Trainer. The multiple options and incentives and "free trials" for both Wii Fit U and Wii Sports Club seem like great ideas that could really generate some interest this holiday...especially when you factor in the price cut, Wii Party U w/Remote, and the trifecta of Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, and DKC:TF on top of it.

I'll definitely be getting both. I already have Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus but I left those and the balance board back with my parents when I moved out for school, so I'll probably just go ahead and get the retail version with the fit meter, game and balance board all bundled together...start fresh.

Fit meter seems like a great way--for someone like me who cares about fitness and staying healthy and likes getting into workout regimens and routines--to really make sure that Wii Fit U can be more than just a game. Now that it'll track what I do when I'm away from home too and other workouts outside of Wii Fit U, I'll definitely be more apt to stick with it and really take advantage of the charts and graphs and use it as a "hub" for all of my fitness activities.

Wii Sports Club sounds great! I LOVE that they just upgraded to HD, added Wii MotionPlus controls (cause it's awesome!), and FINALLY some online multiplayer! I like the pricing structure and options, too. My only concern is that I prefer to get retail versions of games when there's one available, and though they didn't specify...I have a feeling once all 5 sports have been released on the eShop individually, they'll probably release a disc-version at retail with all 5 included. So I'm torn....
