from oled to lcd

not saying it isn't useful, I am getting it myself, I see a lot of use for it myself.

I like this. People who don't want a vita can buy this thing.

Innovation and choice arent the same concept.

These are all choices. You dont need to take them if you dont want.

This is new to you? You've never seen a PS2 without the HDD port, a PS3 without backward compatiblity, a DS without a GBA port, or a PSP without a UMD drive? Really?

*Edit: or a Wii without Wi Fi or a PS1 without the auxilery ports, or a Gameboy Micro, or an PS3 with a smaller HDD and less USB ports, or SNL without Adam Sandler, Mike Meyers, Dana Carvey, Chris Rock, Chris Farley, Ellen Cleghorne, Victoria Jackson, Tim Meadows, Kevin Nealon, Julia Sweeny, and David Spade (ran out of consoles)?

Its not like there arent plenty of OLED Vitas around to buy. By now, Sony must have produced loads of them.

I'm beginning to feel the same way about Nintendo with their handheld versions of NSMB, Mario Kart, Mario Party, DK, Smash bros etc..

I was going for Cloud gaming, but this works too!

I think the difference is that Nintendo's games were never really big cinematic experiences with cutscenes and stuff.  They're pretty much nonstop gameplay except for a couple exceptions.

*edit* For example, I have a Vita and a 3DS and a ton of games.  I can play a game like Mario, stop at any moment, and jump right back into it without a problem.  I can play a game like Ninja Gaiden or Uncharted and have absolutely no idea which way I was supposed to go or what I was supposed to do.  I don't play either portable every day so it's easy to lose the flow of the game after a break.  Nintendo isn't totally guilt free, mind you.  I've played Minish Cap and Metroid Fusion and actually had to start all the way over because I just forgot so much between quitting and playing again.
