I have a 3DS. Animal Crossing Special Edition! But I won't buy Pokémon.

Tbone, you're taking this way to a whole other level. Pokemon is in no need to this.

its been awhile since nintendo launched a new 3ds, i would wait, its a matter of time before its obsolete, its like a phone company with a new phone every year, they are due, maybe its a new color? who knows.

too much backlog on other things anyways and never a fan of pokemon, its just another form of pogs with stats.

Play more DS games then.  There's a lot of great games you're missing out on if five 3DS games are giving you more enjoyment than the entire DS library.  I'm playing the fourth now, but I've never played Etrian Odyssey on the DS so I don't know if there's a reason you should bother with those now, but here's a small list of games to get you started.

Advance Wars Dual Strike, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Retro Game Challenge, and Feel the Magic.  These are some of my favorite games on the DS.  Try them out then go look up best of DS threads/videos/articles, etc, to find more good games.

I think there was a combination of 2 factors:

1) Up until the 3DS all the handheld systems I owned were during a time I didn't had a job and I was still in school, so I was relaying on my parents money, and so I just couldn't buy any game that I wanted and after a while I would just lose interest.

2) Digital distribution: all the games I currently own for my 3DS are digital games, some people find this weird but for the prices games have in my country, digital games is the best thing that has ever happened to gaming (a brand new 3DS game cost around $70).

You do know that I indeed know you aren't into the Pokemon series.  That is WHY I made the comment.  You are trying to reason on more objective matters while speaking from a purely subjective stance.  And my assessment of you was correct while yours of me was not.  You just admit that you don't like Pokemon and no explanation on being obsessed with Final Fantasy.  You pretty much said that any final fantasy game is better than any pokemon game.  That includes All The Bravest, Final Fantasy Tactics for iOS, and the debatable Final Fantasy XIII.  

I personally don't care if you like pokemon or not.  You just simply were making ridiculous claims that should be kept to yourself or at least put in a format of an opinion.
