No, I was involved in an argument.  I simply wasn't involved in one about what "obsession" is.  You just kept saying it, but if you read my posts, I only dedicated like... at most a sentence to your comment.  The whole "obsession" comment really distracts from the main point which is that it is unfair to even try to compare Final Fantasy and Pokemon # of releases.  The truth is that it was ironic that you would complain about a pokemon game with X number of releases while you praise a game with actually more releases than Pokemon even if you do not include the collections and ports (you didn't count the Chocobo series as multiple games).  Also, it makes no sense to bring in all the spin offs of Pokemon in a thread about the mainline series.  That's like bringing up All The Bravest in a Final Fantasy thread about Final Fantasy XIV.

Where did I praise a Final Fantasy game here? Show me where please. ^_-

Now, I don't care what you define as "fair". I didn't count twice the games that have you buy 2 Pokemon carts to get the full experience (like X & Y ^_-), for example. But based on the way you take this to heart, I clearly should have.

Don't exaggerate dude, you need to calm down. It's not like Pokemon is going to sell the system to everyone who hasn't bought one yet.

$70 for a portable game is ridiculous.  Well.  If DS games are cheaper where you live now, or if you can find them used for cheap, you should try to find some games.  This way you can play some good DS games while waiting for the newer 3DS games or whatever other consoles you own games to drop in price.  Unless it's a  game you'll be  getting day one as a must have.
