Not sure why you say that.  There are plenty of new 3DS releases that did well.  Youkai Watch, although having a relatively small FW, has decent legs.  The Disney game seems to be doing well.  While the One Piece game didn't do too hot, I can see how the November One Piece 3DS game could be cutting the sales of the one recently released.  On top of all of that, if you want to count every single new 3DS game that doesn't sell 100k+, why not count every other platform?  It's pretty much the same for any platform and not special to 3DS.  If you ask me, I think this is normal.

I think you may be misusing the word "bombing."  It tends to mean "massive failure."

The only real negative 3DS comment seemed to come from Ryuzaki.  I admit that pokoko's comment isn't really negative.  It's an observation.  The way it was said didn't seem overly negative like the word "bomb" does.

Better. Take a look at sell through and how many copies are left on shelves. Each one couldn't move half of its first shipment and one couldn't even do 1/4 of its shipment.

While I'm not saying that sales were up to expectations, I think the only thing you can really claim is that the FW sales aren't very good.  If you look at Youkai Watch, its sellthrough rate wasn't very good either, but look where it is now.  I think you may be jumping the gun a bit based off of a single week, and ryuzaki definitely overstated it by using the word "bombed."

Most definitely. Not every title is a fast seller, but if it's unable to move through its allocated stock fast enough...

That leads to retailer price cuts to clear extra inventory and a decreased chance of another shipment once previous finish the game and the used market gets flooded.

Of course.  I have definitely seen this happen, but one thing is clear.  The way Ryuzaki is making his claim makes it seem like it's not exclusive to this week, but exclusive to the 3DS and it could have been stated in a much more neutral way.
