Better. Take a look at sell through and how many copies are left on shelves. Each one couldn't move half of its first shipment and one couldn't even do 1/4 of its shipment.

While I'm not saying that sales were up to expectations, I think the only thing you can really claim is that the FW sales aren't very good.  If you look at Youkai Watch, its sellthrough rate wasn't very good either, but look where it is now.  I think you may be jumping the gun a bit based off of a single week, and ryuzaki definitely overstated it by using the word "bombed."

Most definitely. Not every title is a fast seller, but if it's unable to move through its allocated stock fast enough...

That leads to retailer price cuts to clear extra inventory and a decreased chance of another shipment once previous finish the game and the used market gets flooded.
