Wii is already fully backwards compatible with all GameCube games. You guys didn't know that?

And besides, wouldn't need it anyways since you can find most GCN titles for cheap at GameStop.

To be entirely serious, a similar concept to this would actually be a smart idea.

Perhaps they could have "kiosks" that have internal storage of every GCN game that Nintendo has licensing rights for. You simply select which games you want on the disc (for a max of three or four games, if using single layer, or six to eight using dual-layer), insert the appropriate amount of cash (or swipe a credit-card), then the kiosk burns you a disc with those games on it, and out pops a disc + Wii case (or the stores can keep the cases separately. It all depends on how much space this would take up).

Then, the disc would include Classic Controller functionality, Wii system memory saving, and a title screen that doesn't just show a GCN boot-screen.

I'd be sold.
