Forums - Nintendo - This Is Why You Should Have A 3DS

Every 3DS owner

This. Seriously this. I got 4 games alone last month and I don't even buy eShop games since I can't use sofortüberweisung.de on the eShop (wth Nintendo, get a grip. Not everyone has a credit card :/)...

I need some some must-have game suggestions.

So far I have Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus Uprising, Paper Mario SS, Ridge Racer 3D.

I've never played a Kingdom Hearts game, but Dream Drop Distance has me a tiny bit curious.

How is monster hunter? Pokemon Mystery Dungeon?

I'm not a fan of strategy games. I like mostly adventure and action games.

I'll consider RPGs, but those tend to take a long time (a luxury I don't have)

I played AC: Wild World on Wii... long story short I don't think those games are my style. Not a big fan of simulation

Sorry for being so picky ;)

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Wii U will look this good in a few years with any luck.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Well I'm getting Luigi's Mansion soon and I hear it's a must have.

The 3DS is an excellent example of hardware I barely care for at all being made utterly necessary by top-notch content.

And do you know why? Okay, a lot of it has to do with the Japanese market... but the 3DS is also just about the only platform around that can support mid-budget games. Home consoles can support indie downloadable games or $10M shooters and action/adventures, and everybody else can take off. Mobile platforms are only just starting to get used to the idea of mid-budget games. PCs will actually support pretty much whatever budget you've got, but you're still stuck gaming on a PC.

3DS games occupy a happy place where you have enough money to offer solid production values and a polished experience, but not so much money that a suit asks, "How can we make this appeal more to the Call of Duty gamer?"

I was going to accuse you of trolling, but the timestamps say this one came first, so...*shrug*

Nintendo 3DS is the king.

I actually wanted to buy Animal Crossing. I've seen some videos but it looks boring as hell. I'm definitely buying Luigi's Mansion, though. It looks really cool. I'm saving up a bit for Pokémon Y and Sonic Lost World, so I'll probably be buying Luigi's Mansion closer to Christmas.

Are there any more games missing from that list in the OP? Seems a little lackluster.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy > Everything else.

Surprised at how interested I am in that game. Maybe it's because I love FF music.
