yeah, do it Nintendo. it will be funny.

on a more serious note, I would love for Nintendo to buy them because it means more exclusives for my console. although I would feel sorry for the Sony fans that wanted it just as much, just remember that sony kinda did the same thing with Square, so don't feel so bad xD

Uh...how?

yeah I was kinda vague on that. what I mean is... Final Fantasy. back in the SNES and NES days if you wanted to play Final Fantasy, you had to have a Nintendo console. Final Fantasy was a Nintendo game, or atleast in the minds of gamers it was. that all changed with the Playstation, as we all know. thats just one example though, and I know sony didn't buy Square, but Nintendo got very little Sqaure games since then compared to how many they used to get with the SNES.

dammit tbone...gave me a damn near heart-attack!!!

"Wow" was my reaction reading the title.

This company should stay third party, why do everybody want Atlus games exclusive to a single console (whether Nintendo or Sony)?

It would be best for everybody if they stayed 3rd party.  However, if Nintendo or Sony had to get it I would say Nintendo due to having those platforms (bias, I know).

I feel the same. I would prefer Atlus stay 3rd party because so they can bring out a variety of RPGs but if they had to get eaten, I'd prefer it to be either Nintendo or Microsoft so that I can still play their titles and know at least the bigger titles (technically only the games under Shin Megami Tensei banner and Etrian Odyssey are their bigger self developed titles) still have a home.

Well... nintendo has been working closely to Atlus for quite some time... There are some exclusive stuff from Atlus on Nintendo platforms, and recently they relaunched SMT Devil Summoners Soul Hackers... only on the 3ds.
So, if that really happens it would be no surprise, but I really doubt that Atlus will be evetually sold.
