The movie from 98' was decent in my opinion, I had a period in my life when I was really pumped for anything Godzilla, not anymore unfortunately, but I will still see the 2014th movie.

That said I think the 98' Godzilla design was pretty amazing, even though it differed from the original iconic design. This one seems to be more in line with it.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Personally, I hated just about everything about the 1998 movie and its version of Godzilla.

The biggest problem was that Godzilla is supposed to be an unstoppable badass, not an anorexic pussy who runs away every time he's attacked and goes down from a few piddling missiles. I just couldn't be impressed by such a cowardly, weak monster.

Glad he looks thicker than the 1998 Godzilla.

1998 Godzilla was a bit too skiny, kinda like Rambo, new one looks more like Rambo 4, thicker neck and shoulders.

Godzilla is awesome! Including the '98 movie! Can't wait for this one!

Okay, now I'm interested.

The problem with the 90's film wasn't that it was bad, it just wasn't Godzilla. Also, Matthew Broderick, what the hell?

This looks more like the G-money I love. I might dig out my old Godzilla toy just to look at (though I can't find his missile hand).

This looks like it may be a "found footage" film, not happy about that. Godzillas looking ok though.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Pretty sure that's just the guy filming the screen having a crappy hand.

My problem with this version... it looks fake.

We're way too modern to have a fake Godzilla. At least the 1998 movie looked realistic even if the movie itself was sub-par.

I'll still watch it of course, but it may be a redbox movie vs theater if it does look too "classic" and fake.

This particular footage most likely was not taken directly from the film. This was from one of the exhibits at the Godzilla Encounter section, where patrons are looking through a window, and Godzilla walks by and then peers into the window. It was just designed to be like a first person experience with the creature. There was a big exclusive teaser, and what people described about definitely didn't point to a found footage film.
