Is that why next-gen systems are still utilizing them?

I am sure that we will disagree here but they were thought to be the future method of gaming. That never occured this gen, and next-gen they are still going to be an add on, or a sub-genre.
What I mean is that we thought EVERY game would have motion controls. Instead we got a lot of crappy games for Kinect and Move, and then some move add-on controls (Killzone 3, etc).
Once the Wii fad died out the motion was not key to a game. Yes Just Dance sold like crazy but I mean to say that Motion Gaming was thought to be central going forward. Realistically it is not.

Some of those can spun to be true, but still an interesting idea.

It's okay to spin it. Makes for good discussion.
I don't think anyone expected for every single console and handheld this generation from the big 3 to end up being a success. Even those which struggled had an amazing recovery.
Let's hope we get the same thing next gen. (I'm only really worried about the WiiU, I'm optimistic about PS4 connectivity saving the Vita)

I admit number 9, here happy you son of b...

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

same here. Still don't get it, and I've played both...
I agree with it all except the last one..Call of Duty does suck imo
I predicted that the Vita will outsell 3DS, yeah that won't happen.

Killzone 2's E3 2005 target render?
