I don't think anyone expected for every single console and handheld this generation from the big 3 to end up being a success. Even those which struggled had an amazing recovery.
Let's hope we get the same thing next gen. (I'm only really worried about the WiiU, I'm optimistic about PS4 connectivity saving the Vita)
