Honestly if they wrote about it in their magazine I think it would come to Wii U, the main reason Blops 2 sold so bad on Wii U is because they released it on there late and everyone already had the game.

yeah no, the game came out what a whole month after the other versions? wow, thats so late. Im sure all those people who were buying it on PS360/PC couldnt wait to buy it for their brand new WIi Us. Please.

You do know that you're talking about one of the most front-loaded selling games in history... right?

Yeah, whats your point? its not like COD games dont have any legs. otherwise they wouldnt reach the sales they do, hell the game on averaged stays in the top 50 till the next installment, front loaded or not. The game releasing a mere 4 weeks earlier on Wii U wouldnt really have improved sales all that much as people who want the game have the system to play it on and have had those systems for years.

How exactly did Blops 2 sell bad on WiiU?

Its a console with no COD fanbase.
Just compare the sales numbers of the game on WiiU to the PS3 version where the franchise is already established. The PS3 version sold around twice as good as the WiiU version. Thats not BAD for WiiU at all.

Its the same logic as "experts" use to create economy drama like "China's economy is growing 100% every year ours is only 2%"

Wow when you have 1 factory and you build another one you have 2 = 100% gain.
When you already have 1000 and you create 100 new ones = only 10% gain.

The former is clearly better :)

It would have sold phenomenally if it had a head start on Wii U. Mark my words.

how could a game launch on a system that would not have been even out yet? That doesnt even make any sense. THe best it would have hoped for had it launched with the other versions would have been COD vita numbers which are good, but no phenomenal. You're really underestimating the COD fanbase on other consoles and overestimating them on Nintendo ones.

So it's basically all but confirmed.

I said it last time, and I'll say it again. It's not confirmed until it's actually confirmed.

When the developer/publisher comes out and says it will be on the system, then it is confirmed. If they don't do that, then it isn't. That's all there is to it.

The reason why it sold so bad was because it came out on a new system with low install base.  Also, Nintendo systems haven't sold that many FPS since Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark.  FPS are still a main draw on the other systems but Nintendo gamers aren't that interested in FPS for the most part.  Sure it is a decent genre but the genre hasn't really added much since the late 90s.  Hell, I was doing shit on Tribes 1 (PC) that people jizz over on home consoles systems (vehicles, bases, tons of players per game, etc).  FPS genre has been pretty much stagnant in innovation for the past 15 years.  What else has FPS added in the past years?  Total destructive combat?  Well, Duke Nukem 3D had limited destructive walls...

It's been said before, but describing a genre by the point of view is a very rough and unnatural classification. "Shooter" or some subgenre of it is fine, but FPS is pretty well worthless as a classification, especially when there has been a fair amount of innovation in other shooters. And even to a fair degree FPS.
