The reason why it sold so bad was because it came out on a new system with low install base. Also, Nintendo systems haven't sold that many FPS since Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark. FPS are still a main draw on the other systems but Nintendo gamers aren't that interested in FPS for the most part. Sure it is a decent genre but the genre hasn't really added much since the late 90s. Hell, I was doing shit on Tribes 1 (PC) that people jizz over on home consoles systems (vehicles, bases, tons of players per game, etc). FPS genre has been pretty much stagnant in innovation for the past 15 years. What else has FPS added in the past years? Total destructive combat? Well, Duke Nukem 3D had limited destructive walls...
