In all seriousness though, I do find some of them to be hypocrites. This might not be on this forum(it's relatively good, though some are really passionate for nin), but others when comparing the graphical powers of the wii u. They compare it to ps3/360 and say it's better due to graphics alone. Once you pull in the next gen consoles ps4/one, they fall back on gameplay>graphics. In general, they seem to be fine, though passionate about certain aspects of nin rather then the whole entity at times.

Am I accepted by the Nintendo community?

To be a true Nintendo fan you have got to have liked all their consoles and majority of their games. I personally criticize them for my own preferences and praise them for my other preferences. For example atm I am thinking Wii U> Wii but many might disagree.

I'm a Nintendo guy at heart, but I criticize them a lot and I get a lot of guff for it. So I know what you mean. Some people really do think Shiggy craps gold, but I've disagreed with just about every decision they've made over the last several years.

I love Nintendo, but I certainly don't like a lot of their decisions/games.

The Wii/DS generation really sucked for me. I didn't like it. The Gamecube GBA generation is my favorite. I don't like Kirby at all. I think the last 4 Zelda games (SS, TP, ST, PH) have sucked. I think WW is the best Zelda game. I wish Nintendo would stop making crap like Wii U party, Nintendogs, and brain age.

I think that the Nintendo fanbase is pretty diverse actually. I hate a lot of things about Nintendo that others love, and I love a lot of things about Nintendo that others hate.

I'm quite sure that seth was the second poster, but I'd assume you are referring to me. Then, how can a joke comment proves your point about being rejected by a community. I may even add, how are such communities defined, I sincerely believe that I do not belong to any gamer community, even though I do prefer Nintendo products, but I hardly join the threads about the games or talk about their games with other users.

However I do disagree with your statement, it may seem that way as with the Wii there were some people that needed to show that they were true gamers thus they emphasize how hardcore you could be with Nintendo. But, that's not true to most of the people that I see around VGC.

Finally, your point about criticizing Nintendo is all flawed, there are many people that prefer Nintendo that also point out their mistakes. Of course, there will always be blind fans, but I don't think they are the majority.

Criticizing Nintendo is common even among the most hardcore fans. Check any Nintendo community and you will find loads of people crying for a Metroid, Star Fox and F-Zero, wondering why Nintendo would make another Donkey Kong instead. These people are certainly not being "pushed away" from the Nintendo community nor considered disloyal towards it.
