Forums - Nintendo - Why does it seem that to be accepted by the Nintendo community, you need to be a hard core fan?

Dunno, I like Nintendo's stuff most of the time, but I REALLY dislike their Wii U move to make a touchpad controller. I can't explain the absolute HATRED I have for thumbstick controls.

Might be just you. I'm not a harcore fan ( i dont even play mario games) but it didnt feel left out at all.

Same with the Sony community.

I like both companies at the moment. I despise microsoft though. :P

Because it goes against what all Nintendo hardcore fans think. That Nintendo is perfect. They never make or publish games that aren't 10/10, never makes bad decisions, and most of all, never screws their customers like the big bad Sony and Microsoft.

I'm still going to get one for my collection one day...

You do know I was kidding right?  Also if you do get a Virtual Boy, I'd recommend Red Alarm.

I am a big fan of Nintendo but ive never been so dilutional as to not see any of their faults.

I like you spurge. It took some time but I yhink your interesting and dangeriusly manipulative. But I don't consider you a nintendo fan.

Even people with common interest can't always get a long. Believe me I would know. :L

I don't know about that, just never, ever say that you really like a particular Nintendo game and would like to play it on another console. People will lose their minds. It's the equivalent of accepting a business card from a Japanese person using only one hand; you might as well just pee on their cat, it's the same degree of insult.

Also, I've heard that certain circles require you to burn an EA game on video before you're given full membership.

They are a viscous group that demands unholy support of the brand. This might not be true, but I heard for membership, you have to destroy your other consoles and praise their lord Miyamoto. They also seem to employ ninjas to take care of the naysayers. Oh no, I've said too much!

Wrong... You must take a shit on a used EA game.  Preferably a used copy of Madden or FIFA.

Nintendo is no place for casuals. It has long been confirmed that Nintendo systems are only for the hardcore.
