Why does it seem that to be accepted by the Nintendo community, you need to be a hard core fan?

No. It is about everything I see here. People going crazy if you do not fully support or like every game. People who are blinded by Reggies lies.

 

I did add you, but I gave you the wrong code. I even had my status update with the new code and I sent you a dozen notifications.  I do not know what code I gve you and alky before, but he is on my system now. Lol, do you check your notifications?

I'm quite sure that seth was the second poster, but I'd assume you are referring to me. Then, how can a joke comment proves your point about being rejected by a community. I may even add, how are such communities defined, I sincerely believe that I do not belong to any gamer community, even though I do prefer Nintendo products, but I hardly join the threads about the games or talk about their games with other users.

However I do disagree with your statement, it may seem that way as with the Wii there were some people that needed to show that they were true gamers thus they emphasize how hardcore you could be with Nintendo. But, that's not true to most of the people that I see around VGC.

Finally, your point about criticizing Nintendo is all flawed, there are many people that prefer Nintendo that also point out their mistakes. Of course, there will always be blind fans, but I don't think they are the majority.
