Xbone stronger than Ps4 confirmed!

All jokes aside, i've read in another hands-on review that KZ really wasn't that impressive. And most Ps4 games were seemingly behind Xbone games when it came to graphics. Wonder how this will turn out.

The behind closed doors, off-the-record talk is that the PS4 is running hot.  Hence why you saw the issues with the two games at E3.  Apparently the GDDR5 memory is the source of the heat problem.

Got a link to the story of the PS4 running hot?

It is one my main concerns, why do you think MS went for the big box? They don't want to make the same mistake they did with the first X360. I really hope PS4 doesn't end up to noisy.

Yeah you said it's a concern. The poster I quoted stated that it was common knowledge that the PS4 had heat problems. I'd like a link to see. It would be worrying now if it's true as Sony are supposed to begin production soon.

Bigger doesn't always mean cooler. If it has bad airflow a big design will be just as hot as a small design. Once the heatsinks have good surface area to spread the heat I wouldn't worry about it. Sony is usually pretty good at packing as much is as possible. All the PS3 were crambed into the cases and they all ran cool.

I agree but they also have 8gb of GDDR5 memory to cool, wich is probably packed pretty close together. And 8gb must mean alot of memory chips. So considering airflow in a thight space you either have the heat of the APU being blown over that memory or the other way around, and you need quite alot of airflow to dissipate all that heat. Also both cpu and gpu are now in the exact same spot. I was really amazed that AMD could fit an 8 core cpu together with such a GPU.

The amount of chips didn't change... 16 chips... like 8GB DDR3 of Xbone... and it is not a lot.

there's still time for improvement.

Well, I think the all-praised ps4-hardware raised expectations which this article counters. Games still look good but to me it's no news to say "everything looked great" when ps4 is set to dominate in every way imaginable.

And infamous? Wait, I saw something on GAF ... Oh yeah, that's it:

Every game have their flaws... even so inFAMOUS together with The Division was the most impressives games at the show

no worries, keep your opinion :)

It might not seem like a lot but 1gb of GDDR5 uses 4-5 Watts at the very least. So thats 32w-40w in total, that's already more than an entire Wii-U console uses. And the PS4's APU will create more heat than the Cell or the RSX on their own, so that's quite alot of heat in one spot.

lol what games were more impressive in graphics terms than these two? Share your "opinion".

These are incomplete games I'm sure final products will be excellent. I really want to see killzone in proper action in previews/reviews

We are not talking about fun but technical issues. But yes, it *could* happen that the issues get fixed. Would be a shame if it didn't (devs praising the console, 50% more power than Xbone, Sony generally better than MS in any imaginable way...).

PS4 is more capable but GG wants to put more details at less frame rate which is good instead of going high frame rate with degraded details. They can push the game between 40-60 easily but but they want to keep the frame rate constant so for now they choose to stick at 30 and try to push this when the game is in beta.

Xbox is less capable than this and that Forza is said to be on 1080 60fps is becoz of cloud computing so we can't play that game without cloud computing at 60fps and also this game can't do weather and night effects which is a shame and its becoz of its less power than PS4.

1st abstract: Of course they can't easily - they would do if they could. The demo wasn't even capable of constant 30 fps but I think it will at release. framerate is not a constant in code... And sure, 60 fps would mean less details. The game as it is now will not be 60 fps which is fine.

2nd abstract: but cloud-computing doesn't work, I learned? What now? Cherry-picking if it's needed? And haha, yes, no night and no weather because less power than ps4 - I see I am talking to an expert :D

Doesn't change the fact that he said 60fps should be standard for a FPS and then listed Battlefield 4 for PC being 60fps as he knows the console versions aren't.

Also love how you cherry picked all the bad things about out of the article, but a game likeInfamous Second Son got nothing but praise being one of the best looking games, with no frame drops or pop in that they saw at the demo.

Yeah I noticed that too. Thinking about returning my copy. Oh wait, it still has a year left in development.

Why do you quote me? Go ahead and argue with kupomogli - he said it wasone of the best looking games while having 2d-trees.

This is exactly why I despise Killzone. Yeah its a great looking FPS, but that is all. The controls are terrible and 60fps should be the standard for a FPS. I don't want to hear "its supposed to feel that way and GG wanted 30fps." battlefield has heft to its guns and it runs at 60FPS+ (PC) and it is responsive. Being unresponsive and 30fps =/= heft.

So why is your avatar Master Chief from Halo?  None of the Halo games run at 60fps.

because there is no nextgen-halo. halo5 is said to be 60 fps,

Yes, Halo can do only with cloud computing without that it can't do, but PS4 is more capable when the developers learn more about it which is good for offline console.

Where is the point? Oh you wanted to make a smart post with a negative point that Xbone has. So innovative and never done before! I like unique people with a mind on their own.
