I am now looking at boxes of games, and a 360 and Nintendo Wii.  I am about ready to pack them up in my car and go to a local videogame shop and try to get cash for them.  My state, after doing this, will be I will really have NO current gen content.  Ok, I will still have a DSi, and stuff, but not buying any more for it (and that now is last gen).  At this point, I am not looking really to get anything new.  I am looking to stick with last gen stuff, like fire up the PS2 and Genesis and play old school stuff, like old arcade games, and whatnot.  Oh, I can also do the likes of Minecraft on a family laptop at this point also.  Maybe I get an android tablet again sometime.  But as of now, totally out of the loop and really not caring about this.  Sorry, these Last of Us spots really don't do it for me.

So, my question is this: What is the point of being on here, if I am not going to keep up with things?  If I am straight up old school, why be here?  I think there would be far better places to discuss politics, if I want to do this.  Is there going to be a spot for gamification on here, which I am doing research?

Anyone have any answer?  I may just drop off completely at this point, after I clean stuff up.

 You can still discuss older gaming  subjects as far I know.  Most of the people  here have been gaming   since the NES era up to the PS2 era.

To answer the question: for fun discussions on the many flaws of the current Gaming Industry (and there are so many to choose from! ^_^) and for the odd thread on Virtual Console/other retro releases that occur from time to time.
