Anyway, Injustice Wii U sold less than 20,000 units Week 1 according to VGChartz while the PS3 and 360 versions opened up to 244,000 and 300,000 respectively. Its possible that the Wii U version hasnt sold 40,000 units LTD. Hell, maybe even 30,000 units. Is a userbase of 30-40k worth that patch cost, when the vast majority wont be buying the said DLC? |
Well as I said they are indeed working on a patch, but that is supposed to fix some broken elements in the WiiU version (You know what would happen if they didn't try to fix it). Now they could add support for the current DLC within that patch, but that would be a one time thing.
Anyway the second point I was trying to make is that putting DLC on the system most likely costs money, just like arcade games (which is already confirmed) and patches (which is "now" confirmed as well).
Could be to ensure that the dev is not littering the service with shitty or overpriced DLC.
