Those small user bases actually buy 3rd party

But given the way they are treated, 3rd parties are actively disencouraging Nintendo owners from maknig purchases. So it makes for a tough sell.
I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |

How exactly are they doing that? By initially putting their product on the system only to recieve poor support by the user base?
You guys have to realize these companies are running a business. And as such they need incentive (money) to support one over the other.

I realize there are business decisions. I don't like being lied to or excluded for no good reason. And having a reputation for not updating versions or providing full DLC will lead to people not buying their products. It becomes a vicious cycle. if you dion't put out a good product, you cannot expect people to buy it.

Chicken or the egg debate. The people attempting to rationalize for the third parties think that its the Egg of an unreceptive Nintendo base. We know that its the apathetic (or downright malevolent) chicken's fault.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Oh? I could have sworn Injustice was on the Wii U... So wouldn't that mean the Wii U already got support from the game but the consumer didn't support them enough

With no DLC that the other companies got. Apparently they also undershipped to retailers even given the sales that they've gotten.

But the DLC came after the release. As for undershipping, in the situation the Wii U is in right now being conservative is a smart thing. Producing a lot of units that might not sell in a reasonable time would be costly
