Forums - Nintendo - Injustice gets DLC.....except on Wii U

They've made the DLC, which will work on the system obviously. So why not get free money?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Whats the incentive for business to support the system when the games sell so poorly?

Then don't release the game at all, because a half assed version is definitely NOT going to sell.

Lots of shitty ps3 ports sold a lot.

LOL! Thats a terrible view point.  They supported the Wii U and released ot. The Wii U fanbase didn't support them. And you are complaining because they tried supporting the fanbase?

Sony has a large market for these types of games, they are basically the exact same demographic as the XBox audience, so it's not exactly shocking that Playstation gamers tend to buy (by and large) the same games that XBox players do.

Not that I care, anyway. Those DLC's are nothing more than an attempt to make more money by giving less to the costumer, unfortunately, seeing those threads makes me think why should I care about having games stripped of their content so they can sell this same content as DLC while the gaming community seems to like being treated like that.

Hopefully Wii U owners will get to have the chance to purchase the DLC content down the road. The whole DLC issue (and not just for this game, but for others such as Black Ops II and Most Wanted, among others) is really is becoming somewhat silly. Your game is already on the system, and you have customers eager to give you more money for already created content. What's the issue?

That's what I don't get. The game is already on the plaform. The DLC has already been developed. They are passing up free money. I

Only thing I can think of really is the cost of putting up DLC on the Wii u store.  If a small update already can cost you easy 10.000 bucks how much could it cost for putting up DLC?  And how much they need to sell before they make money?

Exactly. I have a Wii U and I love Nintendo and all, but honestly, the average Nintendo consumer doesn't care about the games that 360 and ps3 consumers care about. Nintendo can try and steal some of that audience but right now there's just not that many interested in these types of games.

it sold 20k on the wii U, they might be already losing money on the wii U port, making a dlc that might not even reach 1k sold would just make them bleed money even more

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

well its not like the DLC is free

I'm sure that if they had time to put into porting the whole entire game to the Wii U, they should have time to port over some DLC. Can't be all that hard.
