oh darn i missed :P

Nothing new. I expect it to be like last year were Nintendo announced all the good stuff in a Nintendo Direct.
Retro's Metroid Prime 4.
I don't want a new IP from them, I want METROID PRIME 4. Altho new IP = idk what it is, so I can't know how much I want it. All I know is that I want Metroid Prime 4 as much as Cookie Monster wants cookies.
Also it has been confirmed that Mario3D, MK and Smash will be at E3 (guaranteeing a good E3 at the very least). But seeing these games in action can really hold some surprises.

Metroid would be rather unexpected. There's really no-one available to make it, and Retro should really go on a new IP (or, failing that, StarFox). |
I thought Retro was 2 teams now, one could be working on metroid while the other makes a new Iip

This is what I was thinking as well. I'm also looking forward to see what bundles they have up their sleeves. I haven't bought a Wii U yet, mainly because I'm waiting for a price drop to $299 for the deluxe, or the release of Mario Kart Wii U, which ever comes first.

My problem with Prime 4 is that after three games, the series would probably start to feel stale. Also, after Prime 3's Wiimote controls, dual analogue aiming with the gamepad would be big step backwards.

I would maybe agree with your point if it has'nt been 6 years since the last game. After 6 years, I hope and think that Retro were able to made up enough content for it to not be stale.
As for the Wiimote, I agree with you. They could give us the choice to use gamepad with the screen as a scanner (like lego city) or choose the wiimote and use the old school mechanic for the scanner. But personally, I agree that wiimote was great in prime3, but I've played dozens shooters with dual analogue, so going back to dual analogue for prime would'nt be the end of the world for me.

Rehashed Nintendo game? New IPs don't count if they are from Nintendo? Dillon's Rolling Western, Pullblox, Kid Icarus: Uprising (OK, not basically new IP, but not rehashed either).
